Your privacy and the security of your academic information are important to us.

This application is designed to provide students with a convenient interface for accessing information available through official VCET services. The application acts solely as a facilitator between students and the official VCET systems — it does not alter, modify, or own any of the academic data displayed.

Information such as attendance records, examination results, timetables, notices, and other academic details is obtained from official VCET services. The application's purpose is to present this information in an accessible and user-friendly manner.

We do not sell, rent, or knowingly share student data with third parties. The application is designed to minimize the collection and storage of personal information and to use secure communication practices whenever data is exchanged with authorized VCET services.

What We Collect

Account Credentials — Your VCET ERP username and password, stored using Android Keystore encryption on your device only. Never transmitted to any server other than VCET's official ERP.
Academic Information — Attendance, results, fee status, timetable, hall tickets and notices — fetched from VCET's ERP and displayed in the app.
Student Profile — Name, enrollment number, email, phone number, course, year, and section as provided by VCET's ERP.
Device Information — Device model and OS version used solely for registering push notifications (FCM).
Usage Analytics — Anonymous, aggregated data via Firebase Analytics. Does not identify you personally.
Crash Reports — Automatic crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics to help fix bugs. Does not contain your academic data.

Acknowledgement

The application serves as an intermediary interface between you and official VCET services.
Academic information displayed originates from official VCET systems.
The developers do not use student data for commercial purposes or share it with external parties.
Reasonable efforts are made to protect user privacy and maintain secure access to information.
The application does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of services, as access depends on VCET's systems.

Security

All communication between the app and VCET's ERP server is conducted over HTTPS. Your login credentials are stored exclusively on your device using Android Keystore encryption — never uploaded to or stored on any third-party server. Firebase services are protected by Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity verification.

Data Retention & Deletion

Data stored locally on your device is deleted when you log out or uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data retained by Firebase is automatically purged within 90 days. To request manual deletion, visit our Account Deletion page.

Users are encouraged to verify critical academic information — examination schedules, results, attendance, deadlines — through VCET's official channels whenever necessary. The application is provided on an "as available" basis. The developers shall not be held responsible for inaccuracies, delays, or issues resulting from changes in official VCET systems.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights available to users under applicable law.
